How Kirk Anderson Is Taking Health and Fitness to a New Level
Gyms are some of the busiest places at the beginning of the year, with many people looking to make a fresh start. But by the end of the first few weeks, this number usually drops. Even with those working out from home, most tend to drop out during the first and second months, which has now become a cycle. According to Kirk Anderson, the main reason for this trend is that many people start their fitness journeys blindly, and when they do not get results in a few weeks, they want to quit. This inspired Kirk to develop his health and fitness program.
Kirk is a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. He runs a health and fitness program with customized diets and workout and supplement plans that are helping working professionals (single and with families) over 40 adopt a healthy lifestyle and shed excess weight.
Having walked the weight loss journey, Kirk uses his experience and lessons learned to curate simple and effective workout and diet plans, taking health and fitness to a new level. Kirk, who is now 49 years old, has spent a large part of his life overweight.
Kirk was clinically obese and struggled to lose weight for a long time. He once lost 65 lbs when he was 37 years old, but he put the weight back on two years later as what he had lost was a combination of muscle and fat.
Kirk had tried diet plans and workout routines, and he even cut out certain foods, but it didn’t work out. Kirk was losing weight and then gaining it all back.
But he didn’t give up. Kirk changed his angle, and rather than going with the one-size-fits-all approach, he decided to develop a plan customized to his own body. He invested in research, listening, and reading about other health and nutrition programs. Kirk also decided to borrow some tips from experts in the field. He hired a fitness coach and two male bodybuilders who helped him improve his muscle strength, lose extra fat, and understand more about health and fitness.
Kirk is now helping others adopt a healthy lifestyle and lose extra fat through his fitness program. He has taken a personalized approach, helping him change the narrative in the health and fitness industry where people start the year pumped, but by the end of the second month, most have gone back to unhealthy habits.
“Health and fitness is a long-term journey; sometimes, it may take a while before you see the results. But the wait is worth it. It took me two years to lose the extra fat, and I gained over 30 lbs of muscle, which I have been able to maintain for the last four years. But most importantly, I was able to change my lifestyle and control my blood pressure and cholesterol levels,” says Kirk.
As Kirk continues his health and fitness journey, he is taking the industry to a higher level through his program and helping people look great and feel even better. He teaches people about health and fitness and how your workout routine or diet plan affects your progress. “Many people give up because they do not see results, forgetting you might be the one blocking those results with your routine,” says Kirk.
