But during these moments of hustle, Cassie’s identity expanded from singer to songwriter, immersing herself into the meticulous world of sync licensing.

Reflecting on her journey, Cassie often speaks of the individuals who shaped her artistry. From crafting a track with the acclaimed S1 to commanding the stage before Fantastic Negrito at the House of Blues, she has amassed moments of pure pride. Robbed at gunpoint at the age of 20, a survivor of brutal physical and sexual assault, these traumas could have broken her, but they also fueled her resolve. Cassie funneled this pain into her writing and work as a trauma therapist, sharing her insights with other creatives who have faced dark chapters.

Today, Cassie continues to carve her own path. She’s more than a singer and songwriter — she’s a mom, wife, and trauma therapist. She’s a mentor and an activist.
